I had my hair cut in a salon in Columbus and the stylist used a technique that I had never seen before. She layered my long hair but then to texturize it she selectively came down from above my head with the scissors and sliced into my hair here and there. Everyone else wants to texturize my hair with conventional ways and now after several trims my hair just looks whispy not structured. I don't know what term to use when asking for a cut. Can anyone put a name to this technique?
Hair Cutting / Texturizing Techniques?
It楹搒 called texturizing. It楹搒 done the way you described it or with Notching shears. )shears that have notches, or cutouts on the blades) It makes the hair be less structured and more Airy and Wispy. SOFTER.
