Hair cutting question?

Is it assualt to cut someones hair without consent Could the person be charged?

Hair cutting question?

there was a case here in Melbourne Australia, where a man started to travel on trains and public transport, and he would cut the pony-tail off long haired women ... he had quite a vast collection when finally caught AND yes he was charged.

Hair cutting question?

Yes it is assault, doing anything to someone without permission is assault and they can report you. Most of the time you would receive a warning but you could be charged.

Hair cutting question?

Assult is causing bodily harm.... in which the meaning of bodily harm included "any hurt or injury calculated to interfere with the health or comfort of the victim", so long as it was not trivial or insignificant. There was no need to cause physical pain to cause actual bodily harm.

So to answer question if the judge wants to push it then yes. There has been judges in the past constitute it as assult because the assulter is changing the physical apperance of the assultee. This is how this is true. Hope you havent cut anyones hairy who didnt want you to!

It may be depending on the circumstances. Was force used? Contact an attorney.
