My hair is relaxed and ends between my shoulder blades. I've had relaxed hair for quite some time and i want to do something different with my hair. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am thinking about cutting my hair and locking it. what are the steps i need to take?
you go girl
first thing you need to do is to make sure your hair is in its most natural state.so that relaxer has to go.either start growing it out or cut it off.i,m sure you'll want control of how your locs look so find a good loctition and get your hair twisted to the required size you want.thick or thin.in the early stages you should return for retwists every 6-8 weeks.the first 6-8 months are hard as your hair will sometimes look a mess, this is just part of the transformation.it'll stick out all over the place and you might get a few weird of looks:-( these can be trying times and its very easy to give it all up.at around 12 months your hair should be locked.you won't have to visit you stylist so often, and not only will you find your hair a lot easier to manage, but you'll also have a unique hairstyle which you will just love it .good luck

lemme tell u as a consultant...... Don't do that. It all depends on your looks to see what type of hairstyle you should get such as oval like faces, a face with a soft look you probably shouldn't get locks. [Yes i personally know you, and i say you should not do this]
