Done by the right person it may be ok. not everyone these days are good with razor cuts. If you have curly hair, a razor cut will make it look frizzy. Razor cuts + curly hair = bad.

thinning your hair will not damage your hair but using a razor to do it will. especially if you have curly hair, this will only make it worse! go to your hairstylist and they will have special texturizing shears for thinning out your hair.
