I've been reading past questions on the subject, and some say it makes it look flatter, and others that it gives it tons of volume. Which is true?
I have fine hair, and not too much of it. Although it's not THAT fine, i've seen finer hair than mine, but it does tend to get flat, and i don't have too much of it either. I want to get a haircut that gives it a little more volume, but still keep it medium long.
thanks!
Does cutting fine hair in layers make it flatter or give it more volume?
it really depends... do you have ALOT of fine hair, or just a little?? If you have alot of hair layering would add volume. if you have fine hair and not very much of it, then cutting in layers would make you look like you have even less!

I think it makes it have more volume, at least that's what it did to me. Well, to be honest, it made my hair really frizzy and wavy, and before I layered it, it was perfectly straight. I advise against layering thin hair
