Will cutting your hair really short, like a buzzcut, cause it to grow back differently?

Throughout this year I have gotten some pretty bad haircuts, which has caused my hair to grow awkwardly, so I wondered if shaving it done to a buzzcut would cause it to grow back evenly?

Yes and no.

I used to shave my head regularly, but grew it out for my girlfriend. As it was growing out, some hairs were growing faster than others, causing it to look uneven. This was resolved after the first haircut about a month into the regrowth.

I have noticed, though, that my hair sits better now than it did before I started shaving it.

I did that about 4 years ago, DON"T BUZZ YOUR HAIR!!!! You'll regret it, instead go to a good hair salon and have them cut it so that it looks good, but also can be worn for a while so you can grow it out and not have to get it cut all the time. If you buzz it, you'll have to get it cut all the time untill it grows out!
