Is anyone else terrified of cutting their hair?

It seems like every time I get a hair cut, they mess something up so I'm always WAY nervous when I get a haircut. The last haircut I got was pretty bad I asked the ditz for sideswept bangs and she cut it straight across my forehead. It's all grown out now and looks cute, but does anyone else have this fear?

i do, so sometimes i experiment with on my own. i understand my hair's texture and issues. at least, if i mess up, i only have myself to blame and i don't have to part with a chunk of cash in the process. it always grows out, but whether i cut it or get it cut, i find that salvaging it is all in the styling, not so much the cut.

yes! im growing mine, and i went last week and said 'i reeeallly dont want alot off' and showed her how much. anout 1/4 of an inch. next minute, i looked on the floor and atleast 2 inches where off.

If the hair dresser seems wild or just plain stupid I get nervous...but if I trust them, I don't have any problems. When I get my hair cut, I always tell the hair dresser that I want my exactly the way I describe it; be firm, but don't be an a s s about it.

Yeah, I get like that all the time! That's why I cut my own hair, but you shouldn't do that unless you actually know that you'll do a good job. But I also go to a place that cuts hair well and everyone I know likes it also. What you can do is print out a picture or get a picture from a magazine of how you want your hair and show it to the person that's cutting your hair and say that you want it exactly how it is in the picture. It'll work.

OMG SAMMEEE i dont wana get mi hair cut at places any more because they always changing it last time i went they cut 3 inches off when i asked for half a inch u have to tell them exaccley what u want nd its better to bring a pic and show them

omgg like i KNOW your pain like to me...my bangs are EVERYTHING %26amp;%26amp; when then cut them wrong i tend to get all teary :3 %26amp;%26amp; stuff but grrrrrrrrr dont you just hate it...like there supose to be "professional" %26amp;%26amp; it ends up looking all crappy thats why i cut my own its free %26amp;%26amp; it works better (:
