I really don't know if this question is completely pointless or whatever, but I'm really interested.
Lately, I've been cutting my hair...a lot.
I mean, I'm very good at it, it's just...very short.
And I can't stop.
I have it in a style, it's not just random Brittany Spears bullshit.
I mean, it's long in the front and short in the back, very short in the back.
Anyway, I was wondering...if this may be some subconscious thing that I'm going through with stress perhaps?
By the way, I am a girl.
I don't know what would be triggering this but I don't know if I should be careful with this because it might be an addiction or just stress.
Just some advice would be nice.
Thanks guys.
Hair cutting addiction?
Maybe by cutting your hair it makes you temporarily feel different. Then you will start to think about things that are stressful for you, and you want to cut your hair again. This relieves the stress for the moment. This is the way you have been coping with stress. You can find other ways to handle the stress. If you need help, you can always talk to a therapist.
Good Luck
Hair cutting addiction?
I have heard of this before. It's a form of Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I don't know if you fit it exactly as you seem to at least like it. It could be just that - it makes you feel good because you have cut your hair nice. I'll try to find more info on this and I'll post it if I can find it.
Try on here. It has a bit about hair cutters on the first paragraph.
