Did I make a mistake by cutting my hair?

I just got my hair cut last week and I'm kind of regretting it. Did make a mistake. My hair was getting really hard to take care of and I was ready for a change. Did I make a terrible mistake? Honest opinion, does this cut look okay on me? I can't tell if my friends are lying or not? Bottom line I don't regret cutting it because I was ready for a change, but I just want to know if I should style it diff or not?

Well, it all depends on your personal style.

it seems you are regretting it because you miss your long flowing hair... to tell you the truth.. you caught me off guard..

i was like "whoa! she cut THAT much?!" but I didnt get shocked in a bad way... just shocked in the sense of amazement since that was quite the dramatic amount of hair cut off... :)

You look great. But, like I said.. it all depends on your own personal style... Me, im trying to grow my hair.. lol .. its about your hair length at the moment.. because I want to look younger.. haha

Like I said, it all depends on your personal style, and what you're trying to aim for.

you'll get the hang of your hair, i promise. maybe the regret comes from the shock and dramatic amount of hair chopped off.. ;) and if worse comes to worse.. it'll grow back. :D

If you like it, what's the problem? Do your friends come over to wash it? Then they don't have much say in how you change it. It's still long enough to style, so I can't see a problem.

Honestly I don't think you made a big mistake at all. The hair cut you got I really think it is you. Whenever you think you need your hair cut or that it is getting to hard to handle it do something different. If your friends are telling you it looks good, they are not lying to you at all.

It looks alot better now. It does look more healthy. Less stringy or wiry somehow. Plus it makes it makes it look a lot thicker. Very pretty. :]

Definitely NOT! I love your new hair (and I don't even know you.) The longer hair made you look sort of dowdy and like every other girl out there (and dare I say unattractive?), now, you look like a girl who likes to have fun, you look more mature but younger (if possible) and it just looks good on you. I've never been a fan of long hair, either.

I think now, you should get BANGS! Just a suggestion.

normally, i prefer longer hair, but i always have thought that striaght hair looks better short and curly/wavy hair looks better long. so, i think your haircut suits you. i think it was a positive change, and you look good. however, if you really want change, you might want to stray from the poker straight hair you have. style it differently every once in awhile. curl it, scrunch it, put it half-up, half-down, messy bun, etc. the best part if a new haircut is experimenting, and im sure you will find many styles you like. chnage it up a bit, and you will love your haircut :)

May 2007, I cut my hair it was quite long and then I cut it under my ears. I loved it and the next week regret it! Now, it's grown back and I'm glad I cut it before. It changes you internally. You feel more refreshed and it feels nice.

Definitely better now. The length really suits you, maybe you're just not used to seeing your hair like that yet. I like that length on anyone, but it look good on you :)

I think it looks really good on you! Your old hair looked kinda dead and this hair cut gives your hair more volume and it looks not as heavy. Its a 10 in my book. GOOD CHOICE! KS
