Cutting a babys hair?

my daughter is 2 months old. she has so much hair and it is pretty long and straight and it just sticks up. is she too young to get her hair cut already? its just flat on one sie and it looks like a sideways mohawk. should i just leave it alone? im just wondering because it makes her head shape look different

You can cut her hair any time you want. Or, you can leave her to look goofy for a while, and put it in tiny, cute pigtails in a couple months :)

my daughter was also born with A LOT OF hair on her head.....

we gave her her first haircut at 6-7 months, because the hair would always be in her eyes....

i'd say, if it's not bothering her, you can wait, but if it is going into her eyes of face, then give it a cut, i don't think she's too young, it vitalizes the hair too... so, it's really your call....

You can get her hair cut if you chose...... might take awhile to get it right if she is an active baby.

Yeah just leave it alone, she's far too young for a hair cut yet. A lot of babies have kinda crazy hair and it's cute, some babies don't have any hair for a long time so you're really blessed to have this great mop of hair - be proud of it, I'm sure it will settle down soon!

My niece had the same thing. Her hair would always stick up. Her mom used water but it didn't help. She ended up using little clips to make it look like it was suppose to be that way. Eventually it did go down by itself because her hair got heavy enough and fell on its own. My daughter never had a problem with her hair sticking up but she does have a lot. I'm not planning on cutting it till she's 1. I just rubber bands and clips.
