does getting your tips cut off really help your hair grow faster?

i have split ends. even my split ends have split ends.

ive done it like 4 times and i dont see the difference.

is it just bull or is it true?

but if you trim your hair on a new moon... it seriously works. ive done it and it grew a ridiculous amount. no joke. im thinking it had something to do with gravity.

or you could take hair/nail vitamins to speed up the process

No, it does not. Cutting your split ends off only keeps the split hair in check. If you want your hair to grow, the best way to take care of it is to give up shampoo and use conditioner to wash your hair - it will take your scalp a while to get used to this treatment, but it will not be oily then. Use a boar-bristle brush - NOT plastic - to distribute your scalp's natural oils, and a comb to detangle. The best comb you can use is a wooden one, but go with a wide-toothed one anyhow.

Keep your hair tied back neatly in a braid or up, especially when you're in windy conditions or sleeping. Never brush when wet, and don't apply heat (eg hair dryer), ever.

If your hair feels dry at all, you can take two to three drops of almond or similar oil in your palm and stroke down the length of your hair for moisture. This is also temporarily seal your split ends, if you have any.

well........ cutting ur hair does make it grow a little. but i think it is kinda bull.lol
