Does constant hair cutting ruin hair?

I'm a guy, my hair grows real fast and I always get like a regular haircut (short basic fades). It tends to feel really dry and too prickly when it starts growing again. I also noticed that when I let my hair grow out longer, and then I get a haircut, it seems softer and fuller. How can I maintain soft, nice feeling hair (like when a girl likes to play with it)?

Does constant hair cutting ruin hair?

no it doesn't. The weight of the hair probably give it the illusion of being softer %26amp; fuller.

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

I cut the hair out of my westies eyes and a friend said it could cause him to go blind. Is this a wives tale?

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

its fine. I trim the hair away from my bichon's eyes all the time.

They will not go blind unless you stab her in the eye with the scissors!

Here is a website for grooming westies:

http://www.geocities.com/westiez/groomin...

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

they have it to protect

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

My vet actually suggested that I trim my Havanese's bangs as the hair sticks to the eyeball. Have you ever had an eyelash in your eye? Not very comfortable.

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

Total wives tale!! trim away... just be careful of the eyes.... Blindness....lol.... sooooo not true...tell your friend....smile

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

Wow. Your friend is completely wrong on that one...Your dog will not go blind. It's good to trim the hair that hangs over their eyes...

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

As a former groomer and vet tech, there is nothing wrong with trimming the hair. They do not have it there to protect their eyes, it can cause more problems than it solves. The discharge accumulates and mattes the hair, which then causes an infection on the skin under the eye.

I'm sure you are capable with the scissors, but I'll say it anyway, be careful.

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

first, did u stab him in the eye with the scissor? if no, then u are ok. the hair that falls into the dogs eyes iritates their eyes, and causes them distress, so tell ur friend to check on her "information" before she advises someone about something she obviously knows nothing about.

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

It is perfectly acceptable to trim the brow above the eyes or use a ribbon or beret to hold the hair up on it's head. Be careful with scissors so close to the eyes. If you have a pair of blunt end scissors use those. If you are going to continue to groom at home and not use a professional groomer, but a pair of blunt end scissors. All the best and good luck!

Is cutting hair out of terriers eyes bad?

Well it could possibly go blind if you leave the hair hanging in his eyes.

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

i dont wanna buy any hair products

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

Hi.

There are quite a few products whihc could help you do that. Other ways could be using a strong cleansing shampoo, will make your hair look thinner and avoid conditioner.

**When you next visit your stylist and have your hair cut make sure he/she uses thinning scissors. Tell her that your hair is thick and you want it thinner, they will use a range of equipment whihc will make you achive the look you want.

Hope this helps.

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

ummmmmmmm......

pull it out??????

i dont think thats possible, sorry...

good luck!

%26lt;333

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

Sorry buddy but there is no other way. unless you cut your hair to make it look thin

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

You can't quiet do that.. You should try a thinning shampoo though..

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

Believe it or not but if you comb your hair a lot and make sure that your hair is completely combed with no knots, your hair will seem a bit thinner since knots take up a lot of space and increase the volume of your hair.

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

I don't think its possible sorry! go to your hairdresser to see if they could help..

Good Luck ;)

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

well if you get it thinned

but you have to go to a hair dresser to do that

they have this little tool that does it

my sister got it done

but it would cost money so, sorry

: /

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

There are some styling products that can make your hair appear less bulky. Pomade, Styling wax. Use a small amount of these products to give your hair a more defined shape and it will be a lot less bulky.

How can i make my hair thinner withouthout cutting or using an iron?

there isnt any other way except straightening it or going to a hair salon, and they can thin it out for you by trimming small sections that wouldn't be very noticeable if missing.

You can also use a silicone sealant that makes ur hair look thin. just dont use too much or it will look limp.

i personally think straightening it, is the easiest cheapest most efficient way.

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

this is me : http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i111/k...

not the best picture of my hair . sorry

but i needed a picture with my complextion and im really that pale haha.

and i would like to get bangs like this:

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i111/k...

and just a bunch of layers.

I also want to dye it a different color.

something liek a darkish red or darker brown

what do you think?

Thanks so much for your opinions and thoughts !

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

I think it would look really good. A darker reddish brown would really bring out your eyes more. My best friend is a stylist and whenever I want to try something new but I'm not sure about it, she just tells me that is hair and its going to grow back. You can always change it again. So go for it ! Hope it turns out like you want it too :)

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

I think the bangs will look great on you:)

Darker hair color would go on you because your light skin tone, but also you might wanna experiment with bright colors. Report It

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

Very cute style;)

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

go for it!

i would go with a chestnut brown with your complexion.

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

it would look great dark red, but add a brighter red highlights to really sheen and bring out your eyes. btw you're really pretty xxx

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

well..i think ur hairstyle is beautiful already but the bangs are very cute!!..

=]

..im not sure about those white streaks tho..lol.

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

I would think that would look very good on you. Especially a dark red....I think red looks good with a fair complexion.

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

verry cute !!!! go for it!!!

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

I agree with everyone else. you should get the bangs and dye it a dark brown or red it will go great with your skin complexion. U r a pretty girl so you will look good with color you choose.

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

a dark brown would be best for you. I don't think red really goes good with those pretty blue eyes. P.S. in winter skin gets even lighter so summer '08 make sure you get out in the sun but safe!

:]] hope i helped!

Dyeing, and cutting my hair ( pics included)?

Well, it may look good on you. I would color it dark brown cus I agree with VM- it would go better considering your complexion, but I think you should ask your hairdresser for a more professional opinion :]

Cutting hair to enhance curl?

My hair is what I would call in between wavy and curly. I want the curl to be stronger. Is there any way my hairdresser can cut it to enhance the natural curl?

p.s. I already use a curl enhancing spray gel, and scrunch it.

Cutting hair to enhance curl?

Make sure your hair is texturized when your hairdresser cuts it. This will really help enhance your curl.

Cutting hair to enhance curl?

layers, feathering, thinning shears/scissors!

Cutting hair to enhance curl?

Just cutting your hair shorter will enhance the curl.

The shorter your hair is, the less weight is pulling down on it and straightening out your curls.

If you trim your hair to just above your shoulders or a bit below (while dry), it should be wonderfully curly!

Oh, and be careful not to thin it out too much.

This can make curly hair look very fake and lifeless.

Cutting hair to enhance curl?

If you cut your hair it will be more curly. The more length on your hair the heavier it is. That stretches out the curl. Don't thin it though. This will give you fly aways and you could get split ends. Also if you get a haircut don't let anybody razor cut your hair. This also causes split ends. Hope this helps.

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

my hair is dark brown, past my shoulders with long layers. i want an emo like hairstyle without cutting it short... any suggestions/ pictures ???

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

dye your hair black, with maybe a tint or purple or red for the ends, maybe get it layered and assessorize your hair with a rock chic hairband, (black n white with a bow) ! cool!

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

use hair gel

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

you can always dye your hair....get a fringe over your eyes would also give you that look. or just make it a bit messy, not really neat at all, choppy, and with red and black hair clips in it. but make sure its not holding your hair out of your eyes, it has to be in you eyes. =D

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

Die your hair black and get it straightend. get the cloths to match.

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

long fringe over your eyes, dye black and add some more layers

my friend just had it done and it looked great

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

Have it with lots of layers, dye the tips pink or something and have a side fringe xXx

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

Well you can dye it black and have it stick straight. And if you think you can pull it off: you can also streak your now-black hair with platinum blonde. Then you can part it diagonally and have a part of it cascade over one eye or even cover a side of the face. It's emo/punk but in a still attractive kind of way.

How can i get emo/ rock chick hair without cutting it short??

get short layers cut so that u can use wax or something to mess it up

How to make long hair punk without cutting or dying it? Like by teasing or gelling...?

This is just for a party. We're not tyring to be "posers" We're just trying to have some fun with our hair

How to make long hair punk without cutting or dying it? Like by teasing or gelling...?

Use shiney, wild clips %26amp; headbands along with temporary, spray-in unnatural color. You could tease the backish of your hair, or make liberty spikes

How to make long hair punk without cutting or dying it? Like by teasing or gelling...?

Gell it into a mohawk, or buy some fake hair dye or something that can wash off

How to make long hair punk without cutting or dying it? Like by teasing or gelling...?

Please, if you aren't comfortable doing anything drastic then don't do it. Trying to look another way to impress people is dumb. If it's a costume party, that's okay. Here are some tips:

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

I'm 15 and for the past 2 years my hair has been pretty long about a little past my eyes.Since it's been so long for so long my forehead is oddly pale while my face is a little tanner.

So I was wondering if I cut my hair to the point where there are 1 or 2 inches left would my face and forehead become tanner?

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

Of course it would its exposed to the sun.

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

Ch'yeah!

Try using a skin brightening cream... they make a special kind for your face.

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

your forehead will be as soon as its exposed to the sun, maybe before you cut it you should clip your hair back or something and sit in the sun to tan it so when u dont cut it it wont look weird

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

unless you wear a hat they should even out really quickly. even in the winter you'll get a tan, so if you don't cover your face it will even out quickly.

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

keep the bangs just trim em

Cutting hair after growing it out for so long?

No, I think you should leave it long, definitely. It's almost winter, so, unless you live in Hawaii or some other warm tropical place, all your skin is going to be getting pale in a few months. If it really bugs you, get some tanner and put it on your forehead. (Or some white powder to put on the rest of your face, OMG) Guys with short hair look weird. I like it long. It just looks better, it's way edgier and cooler than just leaving it short like a first grader, eww. Please keep it long. :P

Cutting Hair in Layers?

Can anyone tell me how to cut my hair in layers? I want to do it myself and i'm an aspiring hair stylist. Please Help.

Cutting Hair in Layers?

haha...aspiring? are you going to audition.....stop being cheap and go to a stylist....you are going to screw your hair up.....You do realize that hairdresser do not cut their own hair right????

if you really really want to screw it up yourself....just turn your head over and cut into the hair hanging down on the ends...either that...or just cut it strait across with your head upsidedown...it will layer it..but its going to look like crap...I had a crazy backwoods trailer park woman I worked with do this all the time, because she didn't trust anyone to cut her hair

I'm a stlyist

Cutting Hair in Layers?

Gee, i wish i can cut my own hair too :) would save me the trouble to the hairdresser. Good luck.

Cutting Hair in Layers?

I would advise you to check into cosmetology schools - if you're an aspiring hair stylist you're gonna have to take those classes before you can get your license anyway.

Cutting Hair in Layers?

If you are an "aspiring" hair stylist you would know better.

Cutting Hair in Layers?

i think you should go to the hairdressers and get it layerd just in case you stuff it up

Cutting Hair in Layers?

go to a professional aks for advice cos looking at the answers above ur not going to get any decent ones here! good luck huney! and when u kno, come and do mine too lol :) xx

Cutting Hair in Layers?

Hey, try bending over as though you're going to tough your toes, comb your hair down. You will notice that your hair appears as though it is cut in layers (this applies if your hair isn't cut in layers) . Make sure all your hair is combed down, now cut your hair straight across in a straight line. This is my personal wy to cut my hair in layers. If you want bangs then you may cut it after. Hope it helps

Cutting Hair in Layers?

you urself wont be able to cut yur own hair in layers....but if you can get a little help then follow these steps:

1.the hair is suppose to get 3 steps of layering

the lowest, the mid layer n the uppermost layer

2.just wet ur hair n devide em into 5 sections on top...use bobby pins to roll ur hair n secure them on top of your scalp

3.take hair from mid sections of your scalp and secure them with pins

4.now work on the lowest section..wet the hair and achieve the lenght u want.once youve got the lenght u want then start working on the mid section

5.start frm the back and move on to the front sections..just concentrate on the lenght as fer now

6. then work on the uppermost layer and remember to cut it short fron the front side so as to give the layered look

7.now work on the refining of layers

8.blow dry or straighten ur hair

Cutting Hair in Layers?

I have done this myself and had no trouble. If your hair is just below shoulders it is easier. This does not give you prof. results of course. Sham. and cond. towel dry comb out. Take a comb and part a small section for a guide on top this will determin the length of your shortest layer. Then make a verticle parting along front hairline comb straight up to guide and cut straight accross. (It does look better if you can angle the cut from guide up on an angle to ends but for the first time I would do it straight till you get used to cutting your own hair.) Then follow around your head till you reach the other side always remembering to take a small amount of first section and top guide as a guide. It gets a little tricky in back obviously, but if you take your time and comb hair really straight you can do it. I usually dont sug. doing it yourself but I have so what the hell. Good luck! Doing hair is an awsome fun career!!!

Cutting hair with clippers?

I want to cut my own hair, and am going to buy some clippers, but is it hard to do and easy to mess up?

Cutting hair with clippers?

No it's not hard to do and yes it's easy to mess up. If you have long hair you should cut it with scissors first . After that it all depends on the length you want to end up with. Buy clippers with different attachments, go with the longest attachment first and go down step by step until you are satisfied. If you want to go bald use no attachment and buzz it all off one shot. I suggest you use a hand held mirror so you can see what you are doing back there.

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

Should I?

Do you like girls with short hair?

Or are they too boyish?

Last time I cut mine I was told I resembled Harry Potter or Paul McCartney but the female version.

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

but if it look good for you and if you are up for a change, go ahead,

hair is hair, it all grow back one day.

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

I love cutting my hair into random styles. I did it about 5 times on my winter break. Haha, but it grows fast!

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

ive met a few girls with really short hair that were really hot ...if it works go for it...

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

Hmmmmm ... You know, I don't remember the HP, and only vaguely the Paul references? Anyhow, I think ... you shouldn't cut it all off, because I think you could something really cool with layers and color and razored edges and it'd be really neat! Seriously!!

I feel like cutting all my hair off.... again?

Generally when people want to cut their hair they are having an identity crisis. They are identifying too much with the false ego. (The body) they think they are their body and they want a change even spiritually and they think cutting their hair will help. I use to be a hair stalest by profession. I found that people where never satisfied with what they had. I use to color, perm, style my hair in all ways, searching for my self. I never found myself in my hair. But when I found out that it was a useless waste of time to deal with my hair, I let it grow out natural and long and just keep it tied back. It was so liberating, at least in some sense. Don't fuss with it, don't' worry about ti. Keep it simple to take care of so you don't have to be concerned with it. Your Not your Hair. lol

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

I have been to three different hairdressers in the past year. One has washed my hair before cutting, the other two haven't Which is best?

I always have gel in my hair.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

They dont, they only wash it if you ask them too, or if you;re dying your hair.

Usually they just spray water on it to make it damp.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

Did u pay more when they washed your hair? Usually u pay more without knowing. But no, they dont always have to wash your hair.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

I think it's a choice thing with hairdressers. I too have had some cut my hair when it's wet and some have cut it when it's dry.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

Missunderstood is clearly misunderstood. (The first girl who posted). Part of the service of cutting your hair is to wash it also. You must be going to a really cheapy place, or a very unprofessinal hairstylist if he/she isn't washing before cutting and styling. Or...you are paying $10 for just a cut. You don't have to ask for them to wash your hair- it's part of the services of a wash, cut and basic style. You should go to another hair salon if this one isn't washing your hair.

BTW, the only reason they would do a "dry cut" first then wash after is if you're getting hair color done.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

My hair dresser cuts my hair then washes it. If you had hair gel on before the haircut then maybe that's why they washed your hair first.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

Basically, if you have a lot of hair, or a lot of product in it, you should ALWAYS have it washed. Spritzing it down will not make the cut very even, neither will dry-cutting it. I think if they don't wash it, they're either lazy, or a chop-n-go type shop, and don't return if they don't.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

washing is preffered but costs a bit more. its worth it though.

next time just ask for a wash, cut and style.

Should a hairdresser wash my hair before cutting it?

There are a few ways that Hairdressers cut one's hair.

Ususally they should ask you, "Do you want your hair washed". You either accept the offer or decline.

They either charge you for it or its free of charge.

So, whenever you go to a salon, make sure you state if you want your hair shampooed and conditioned. If they have a problem with it. Leave.

However if you always have gel in your hair, it may pay to get your hair washed. Before getting it cut.

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

As a guy, I've noticed that if I get my hair trimmed (mine is longish) in a regular guys barbershop or even a salon that caters more to equal numbers of guys/girls, then they just use a comb and scissors to cut my hair. But if I go to a salon that is unisex but maybe caters more to women (fewer guys) or is more trendy, then they use these big plastic clip type things or silver metal clips to keep hair out of the way while they cut it.

Why the difference? Does using the clip things mean I am getting a better cut or not, or does it mean the stylists isn't as good. I guess they just keep hair out of the way while they cut it, but shouldn't they be used all the time as common practice if they are needed, or not bothered with if they aren't.

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

It depends on how the barber/beautician is taught and the method that works best for them. My sister used to be a hairdresser, and she's the only person I would ever trust to touch my hair, and she was taught to use the metal clips (they have a technical name but it escapes me now what it is) and that's what worked best for her. Most hairdressers I have seen in the unisex salons and beauty schools use the clips. At the same time, those same people can't give a decent haircut to save their lives, so the clips don't have anything to do with the quality of the cut. It's all about the skill of the hairdresser and their willingness to listen to what you want and go from there. A large number of hairdressers out there actually don't care about the job itself, which is one of the reasons why people recieve bad cuts (or whatever else they went in for) and service. They're only in it because it's "easy money" and anyone can go to school to learn it.

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

They're called " h a i r c l i p s ". Doesn't mean it's a better or worse cut. It's the skill of the beautician or barber that matters.

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

Some people find it easier to cut small sections at a time opposed to all at once. I think it just depends on their training.

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

depends on were they were taught oldschool dont use those but now we no it works better if you use them

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

It's just a stylist choice thing. It doesn't mean you're getting a better cut.

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

When I was still in England they used to use clips like that all the time. Over here in the US, they seem to use them less. Also, one girl asked me if I minded or not if she used them. I said no problem and she seemed relieved lol. I got the impression some guys don't like them being used, like it threatens their macho-ness.

Ash'

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

Do you mean sectioning clips? Are guys really that bothered by things like that? LOL, glad I am a girl!!!

Jessica

Those clips things hair stylist use when cutting hair?

there really is a big difference between a barber over a stylist. barbers specialize in hair. period. stylist are hair skin and nails. they are typically more organized. they do jus give you more control over the hair. in barber school they are not trained to use them . that's all.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of dreadlocks, but without cutting the hair too, too s

My daughter's friend has dreads and now wants to grow her hair out straight again, but wants to be rid of the dreads right now. But she also does not want her hair to be too short. Any advice on how to "un-do" them?

Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of dreadlocks, but without cutting the hair too, too short?

While cutting is the most common method of removing dreadlocks, you can try to save your hair by carefully picking apart each individual lock. This is commonly called a "take down."

If you want to cut your locks you should grow them out for a month or two first. Refrain from twisting or otherwise manipulating the roots so that the new growth is as loose as possible.

Now you can cut off your locks at the point where the new growth ends. You're left with a short crop (it would have been shorter if you simply shaved), but have saved time since you didn't need to pick apart the locks.

If you want to take down your locks there are dread removal products to help you. The most popular are:

* Take Down

http://millresources.com/takedown/takedo...

* Knotty Boy Dreadlock Removal Kit

These products may help reduce the amount of hair damage and loss that is typical with taking down a style.

Alternatively, you may want to create your own take down cream instead of using a dread removal product. Generally, all that's needed is a few bottles of conditioner, a lot more gentleness and even more time. The process has been known to take several days!

When removing dreadlocks on your own in this fashion, be sure to snip off the oldest growth on each lock (the last inch or two should do it in most cases).

Many wonder if a salon will help you remove dreadlock hair styles. The average cost to start dreadlocks ranges between $200-$500 USD. The cost to take them down is generally about the same, if not more due to the delicate nature of the process and the time it takes.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of dreadlocks, but without cutting the hair too, too short?

Exactly what the first person said! Definitely check out knotty boy, their products are awesome

Knotty boy removal kit http://www.knottyboy.com/shop/dreadlock_...

It depends on how long she's had the dreads and how she originally dreaded them. I had mine for 4 months, but since my hair doesn't naturally dread, I had purchased a lot of dreadlock wax to keep them together...so in order to remove the wax I used dishsoap. It worked on me, but unless your daughter's friend used wax, it won't work. (after the wax was stripped, I could pull out hairballs from my hair...it was really really gross and took 3 hours)

Try the shampoo from knotty boy.

Otherwise, you can start the tedious task of disassembling them...good luck!

Suggestions for cutting hair?

If you have curly hair, it doesn't make a difference what type of cut you get. and especially that is thick. But you can straighten it out nd have a stylish look!!!!

Suggestions for cutting hair?

first, go to a good salon/stylist. then, tell your stylist what you want (be able to tie it into a pony tail...etc.) and ask them what cut they could do keeping in mind what you want and also your face shape and what would look best for it. also, it might be helpful to tell them what kind of trend you follow (prep, emo, ghetto, "trendy"...etc.).

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

I'm a teenage guy with long blonde hair. It's kind of a surfer style but my sister wants me to cut it to either a short and "Scruffy" look or even a buzz cut. The "scruffy" idea would be something like this:

Obviously the buzz cut would be a full shave. My problem is I don't know if I can part ways with my long hair. It's sweaty during the summer and sometimes even causes me to break out, but it's a look that I spent 8 months to achieve. On the other hand, I have had this long hair for a year and it may be time for a new shorter look. I guess my "beef" is that if I cut it, I probably won't grow it out for a while since it's such a long process. What should I do?

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

I would get it shaggy! Personally that totally turns me on!

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

Dont cut your hair!

I love guys with long hair =]

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

u should post a pic of you on here so people would know what u look like like that to give u advice the same doo is not aplliable to all people i mean ashton kutcher might look good in it but maybe larry the cable guy wont u know what im saying???

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

OK... I think that you'd better cut your hair taking into account the first link... because that style is awesome... looks nice...

And you can use it in different occasions... without having to make an effort fixing it...

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

You mean long hair that you can put in a pony tail? if so then that kinda hair is hot dont cut it!

Thinking about cutting hair (for guy)?

Don't cut it.

You should not cut it. I like guys with long hair.

Cutting hair before Cat walk?

When models go to the cat walk. And their backstage for makeup, clothes, accessories, and hair. Do they cut your hair sometimes for the "Look" that matches the clothes... will they cut your hair?

Cutting hair before Cat walk?

Sometimes they cut your hair, but mostly I think they use various styling techniques, add hair pieces, like wigs or extensions, depending on what they think will look the best.

Cutting hair before Cat walk?

i guess they could cut, but mostly they have a lot of people working back stage that do wonders in seconds.all make up and accesories are matched before the event, and in the hanger with the clothes are instructions on how to.althought the models know what is going on with each outfit.

Cutting hair before Cat walk?

The person that hired the models also hired hair stylists, hair colorists, nail techs and so forth. The model agrees to whatever when he or she was hired and the boss trusts his or her hired design professionals decisions on what goes with the outfits. Of course with celebs there are typically mangers and lawyers and contracts and waivers involved.

Apostolic hair..no cutting?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for black apostolic pentecostal woman who have just started not cutting her hair. How to keep it growin without trimming it. So I can let others know maybe... 'Preciate it. mE

Apostolic hair..no cutting?

OK, just a thought. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that women have to let their hair grow long. In fact, it says, "For by Grace are you saved through faith, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Your salvation is not dependent on your hair. Jesus can save no matter how long or short the hair. He looks at the heart, not the outer appearance.

And where exactly in the Bible does it say that it's wrong for a woman to show her neck? Man made rules just demonstrate to the world that certain denominations aren't even really sure they're saved...they have to try to do the part that Jesus did fully and completely on the cross.....they try to make themselves good enough to experience salvation. Are they doing enough? No, but that's why Jesus died.

Apostolic hair..no cutting?

true, but it does mention

1st Corinthians 11

14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. Report It

Apostolic hair..no cutting?

But it also says that the women's hair is her covering, and her glory, thus incouraging women to grow their hair long.

I keep mine in the mid back area, but I do think it is wrong for a woman to have a short haircut like a mans, exposing the neck

Apostolic hair..no cutting?

I have a 4 Month old and i find that i am loosing ALOT of hair. My Question is Will Cutting it Short

Right now my hair is past my shoulders, its also seems alot drier then normal, everyone is telling me to Chop it off... but I really dont want to unless it will help. ... Its hard to belive that loosing this much hair wont make me go bald.... I know that it stops at aroung 6-9 months generally i just wanna know WILL CUTTING IT SHORT HELP?????

I have a 4 Month old and i find that i am loosing ALOT of hair. My Question is Will Cutting it Short help?

I cut mine short because my long hair would almost come out in clumps when I brushed it. By cutting it shorter it helped it from getting pulled out my hairbrush although some still fall out but not as much.

About the same time I cut it chin length I started taking prenatel vitamins. I took them for about 6 weeks. Worked for me and in 7 months my hair was to my shoulders and a few months after that well past it so I had my long hair back.

I have a 4 Month old and i find that i am loosing ALOT of hair. My Question is Will Cutting it Short help?

Cutting it short has nothing to do with your scalp.Keep taking your prenatal vitamins because that will help with stopping the hair loss and use a deep conditioner to help with the dryness.I would recommend Bonemarrow found at Sallys

I have a 4 Month old and i find that i am loosing ALOT of hair. My Question is Will Cutting it Short help?

dont. Keep taking the prenatal pills. it makes your hair and nails grow really fast.

I have a 4 Month old and i find that i am loosing ALOT of hair. My Question is Will Cutting it Short help?

your hairs falling out coz of having a baby...doesnt matter what length it is, it will still happen. You wont go bald coz for every strand of hair you lose, a new one grows in its place. It will stop falling out as much soon. Dont cut your hair.

I have a 4 Month old and i find that i am loosing ALOT of hair. My Question is Will Cutting it Short help?

Don't cut your hair!!! The same thing happened to me. I called my doctor because it was so bad!! Keep taking your prenatal vitamins it really does help!

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

Is there a type of hair product? Or at least a hair product that will prevent split ends?

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

No!! I used to be a hair dresser! Split ends are caused by poorly conditioned hair which in time splits in two and the only way to revive them is to cut them and cut them every 5-6 weeks to maintain healthy ends and hair that grows. If you have split ends and don't cut your hair they split up to the root and eventually fall out!!!! So get to the hairdresser!!!!!

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

try V05 hot oil treatment, i believe they have one specifically for split end control.

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

No. You can get silicone products to hold them together but they only last until you wash your hair again. There are lots of products to prevent split ends, made for certain types of hair, including Sun Silk. I prefer Garnier.

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

You have to trim to get rid of, but keeping hair healthy and getting regular trims should prevent split end.

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

The thing Ive learned is that you can not completely prevent split ends. However you can hold them off for a while and get less by treating your hair nicely. Dont blow dry, or do so as little as possible. Be careful with irons and ALWAYS use protective sprays and serums. Dont wash and restyle your hair EVERYDAY, wash every other dayish (especially if you straighten your hair). When buying shampoo and conditioner DO NOT GO TOO CHEAP. In that I mean no white rain, suave, etc...now Aussie offers a great line of products that I use when I dont buy salon products that keep my hair looking great.

I only get my hair trimmed and shaped about every 2 months or so because I dont get split ends in mass quantities.

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

you can buy shampoos that make hair stronger and reduce split ends

i have garnier fructice..

the one that makes hair stronger and i barely have split ends and it helps your hair grow too and ive only been using it for a week

hope this helps = ]

%26lt;3

Is it possible to get rid of split ends without cutting your hair?

No, you have to cut split ends. After cutting, you should take preventative measures to keep ends from splitting and to keep your hair looking shiny and healthy. Mending serums exist, but they don't cure or prevent current or future splitting. Regular trims is the only way to get rid of split ends.

A sharp inverted bob would look good, but would only suit you if you had very strong bone structure. why not try a soft bob with a block fringe to bring out your eyes?

I'm cutting my hair tomorrow..............need some ideas?

Maybe you could layer it or just cut it staigth down. Like with now style at all. Whatever you do just don't get too many layers and styles because it would look funny with your thin hair.

okay ill give you 1 idea okay i think it will look cute on you i bet you are really nice to people i give you a+ you should cut like in layers but i mean cute layers

Don't do that! Cutting hair is humilizating and useless. When you cut it , do it without eny theatre. That, what we need all, is more spirit, and not more material body. Your beautifull hair will kill one hairless jelous woman head.

Please let me know yor opinion on girl's cutting hair as boy's. Do you agree to that cultu

Now girls are boy-cutting their hair. Are they to be admired? What makes them do that? please think a bit and share it with us

Please let me know yor opinion on girl's cutting hair as boy's. Do you agree to that cultural change?e it?

Personally, I think women/girls look good with long hair, as well as short hair. However, it's not my place to dictate what anyone do with THEIR body. I have seen a lot of women/girls with short hair and they look rather lovely. My niece is very energetic and partakes in a lot of sports. She keeps her hair very short, because it keeps her cooler and is less of a distraction on the field. One of the best and most sophisticated and elegant actress of all time, Audrey Hepburn, at one time kept her hair very short. Former First Ladies Jackie Kennedy and Hillary Clinton also kept their hair short. I think perhaps the two women who kept their hair short, and no one can deny that they looked very beautiful with that hair style are the sultry Sharon Stone and 'The People's Princess' herself, Princess Diana. So I suppose it comes down to, freedom of choice and freedom to be yourself. I know, there isn't anyone who can tell me what to do with my appearance and my hair. I, and only I, decide what to do with me. If a female wants to cut her hair short , it's no one's business but her own. Women have suffered more than enough oppression. So it's really absurd and demeaning, not to mention stupid to ridicule females who chose to cut their hair short. As if we don't have enough prejudice in the world. If you are a female and you don't think it's appropriate for women to wear their hair short, then you are entitled to your opinion, but, don't hold the rest of the world to your standards. If you are a man and you think it's inappropriate for a woman to keep her hair short, then you're also entitled to your opinion, but you must accept it's not your choice to make and live with it. There are a number of reasons why girls cut their hair short such as fashion and their lifestyle. It really doesn't matter why a girl chooses to cut her hair, the fact is it's her choice and if anyone has a problem with it, then that's what it is, their problem.

Doesn't bother me. I do not like all the long, scraggly hair on boys these days, though.

Hair or bald heads are matters of personal preference. However, I prefer hair on my own head and I am culturally, accustomed to seeing other females with more hair on their heads than males. The reasons for females cutting their hair as males may vary from person to person but in the West, it is usually a statement of penitence and self denigration in some religious circles. With others is simply an effort to keep cool in the summer, to avoid spending time styling hair and money at the hairdresser, or to get the attention of some audience--family or friends-- by cutting their hair off.

Please let me know yor opinion on girl's cutting hair as boy's. Do you agree to that cultural change?e it?

I'm not a guy, but I think it looks nice on some women depending on their face and the shape of their head. There is a South African model name Kaone Kario who has her head almost completely bald and she is beautiful, in my opinion. http://www.myspace.com/150996066

Please let me know yor opinion on girl's cutting hair as boy's. Do you agree to that cultural change?e it?

I am now 50 years old, but when I was 17 I had my hair cut very short (it was about an inch long) and I loved it! If I still had the face for it, if my jaw was not starting to sag in other words, I would love to cut my hair like that again. I don't think that it is a cultural thing, necssarily...but then I'm an American, and I cut my hair at that time because I wanted something different from what everyone else had. I felt like doing something shocking. Luckily, it looked good on me! Maybe that is what these girls feel when they are cutting their hair as well...they just want to be different from everyone else. Or, they just want to rebel against what is expected of them.

I think girls should cut their hair in any way that makes them look their best, and not be dictated by cultural norms if that is their desire, and if they can do so without causing too much familial strife. It is, after all, their hair. I do know, however, that in some cultures a woman's hair is proof of her femininity, is her crowning glory, and cutting it is frowned upon. Keeping the peace over something like this can be difficult in some families where tradition is important.

Please let me know yor opinion on girl's cutting hair as boy's. Do you agree to that cultural change?e it?

How would it look if boys wore sarees or mini skirts? I am sure you will agree that they would look weird. Similarly I think some things are meant for either gender. Why ape each other?

Please let me know yor opinion on girl's cutting hair as boy's. Do you agree to that cultural change?e it?

I think it is acceptable as long as she looks nice in short hair ~~~ sometimes it is refreshing to have a change in hair style ~~~~and it is nice to have short hair in a warm climate because it makes for a quick shampoo and dry and then there is no more fussing to be done ~~~~if that is what is wanted. At times, however, people like to fuss over things because it is fun!

I once saw photographs of some people in a cultural group who lived somewhere north of India ~~~~ the men and women not only dressed alike, in long robes with colorful sashes and ties at the waist, but they also had their hair cut exactly alike: short, like the man's cut ~~~ they looked very nice together ~~~ I think it is a matter of geography sometimes~~~and sometimes one likes to be free from pressure of society to conform to something which might not be the most comfortable or attractive choice to make ~~~ people have rights and that is the way it should be

Peace %26amp; Love

Certainly it is not a good thing. Lady's beauty is also in the long hair. Shankaracharya discribed the "KADAKI BANDHAM" of Ammavaru, the Supreem Godess in "SOUNDRYA LAHARI" Once you read "SOUNDRYA LAHARI" the importance of long hair contributes to the beauty of a women shall be known. However any thing in the nature is not perminent. Let us allow the hair to be droped by itself due to old age of a human being.

cultural change is eighty percent in my opinion influenced by the society. And in the world today, even the richest culture, the Maasai of east Africa is slowly giving in to the society. The society in my opinion is 100% media 'brain washed'. a lot of female models have their hair short, even some hollywood celebrities like Britney spears. The reason why they so that is because of the media influence. Fashion comes and fashion goes. so i agree with it because in a little while it will be gone.

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

I love hairdressing, im onyl 13 but i would love to get a head start and does anyone know how i could get these experiences at 13, not actually cutting hair but maybe just being around the people who hair dressers.

Doi you think that they would train me to cut hair a little bit just some basics??

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

Keep practicing. You will be an awesome hairdresser. Just believe in yourself, and don't let anyone or anything tell you different.

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

yep

IM 14 and i am doing a make-up corse

i loove it

tell me your area you live in and il check where the nearest corse is to you???

xxxxx

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

i dont think they can legally start training you till youre 16.... you would either have to get an apprentice position at a salon or go to beauty school around your regular school

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

When you get to high school they should have some classes you can take . Talk to a counselor at your school and see if they offer that class at your local high school so you can get in ,Good luck

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

Go around to a couple of salons in your area and talk to the hairdressers there. Maybe regardless of your age you could volunteer. Suggest that you'll sweep up hair and take out the trash. Just whatever it would take to get your foot in a salon. Let them know of your interest and I'm sure they'll love to teach a little as they work. People love to show off their skills! Good luck in what is hopefully your new career!

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

Go to a local hair salon, and speak with the owner/manager. Offer to help clean up, and run errands, and that sort of thing. Explain your interest, and see what response you get. You may get no or little pay, but after a while, you will start learning what it is like, and then you can decide if this is a career that you really want.

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

Hi there,

You are too young to go and do some work experience at the moment as it would be child slave labour, but definitely when you hit 15, you can get work experience in a salon. You will not be allowed to do any work on clients, such as cutting and colouring for liabilities sake until you actually attend hairdressing school and are a hairdresser. It is just the law.

You can definitely practice on friends, i wouldnt cut their har but try doing things like hair up and stuff, this is usually the first thing you will learn anyway.

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

Is there a vocation technology program at your school? Check with your guidance counselor. I remember when I was in school, there was a special program for those kinds of things... cosmetology, automotive, culinary arts...

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

If you have that much passion for the art of hairdressing that is half the battle. Get your parents to buy you one of the maniquin heads that hairdressing students use to practice on and go from there. If you just want to cut hair, you can go to barbering school, my aunt is a barber with a long list of clients. But it is one thing to want to do it and another to be able to stand on your feet long hours, put up with cranky people and not always paid well. A lot of young women go to school for it and find out it is not what they want after all, I know some personally. I am not trying to burst your bubble just want you to know it not all fun and games, it is like any other job...WORK and not easy work. Talk to a Salon (or barber shop) owner and see if she will let you observe hair dressers at work, offer to sweep the floor for it and get a first hand view of what really goes on during the day. I don't think you can go to school unless you are at least 18 (not sure tho') so you have a lot of years to practice and make up your mind and save your money, it's not cheap. Keep your passion and go for it!!! Have fun and God Bless, Elle

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

Most areas have/offer a vocational high school that has a hairdressing/cosmetology course. When you are ready for high school, talk to your parents about attending one of these, instead of a regular high school. Not only will they teach you everything about being a hair dresser, but, will also help you get licensed before you graduate. So, when you get out of school, you will be all-set to work in a salon, even if as an apprentice (which is what all hairdressers start out as, at least, at the better salons) or, if you wnat to work at a discount hair cutting place (Super Cuts, Great Clips, etc) they may start you off on your own chair right away.

I'm 13 and i want to be a hairdresser, i love cutting peoples hair.?

congrats on knowing what you want to do. that's wonderful

be smart. look around and see who cuts hair the very best.

then go to that person and say you really admire their work and could you sweep up or shampoo at their shop.

if they say no, you are too young and I can't hire you.

tell them, no prob. I'lldo it for free just so I can watch you and learn how you do it.

if you're 13 you prob. are already really, really good at being persusive. If you really want this, expect some rejection. I hate rejection.

but if you really, really want it, you will get it.

when you do, contact me and cut my hair.

blessings.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

My daughter is 9 months and her hair is in her eyes. I usually put clips in but not always. I just can't bring myself to cut it. Am I being silly? Should I just do it? How should I do it?

Cutting Baby's Hair?

You can cut it and keep her bangs or you can let it grow out to one length. If you cut it I found the easiest way is to do it in the tub when it is wet. Comb it forward and when she is playing with something (but not jumping around obviously) make 1 little snip. Then wait a few seconds and try to snip again. You can fix any unevenness once her hair is dry. I remember walking around holding scissors waiting for my 1 year old to sit still long enough to just snip 1 more piece that was hanging down! lol

If you let her bangs grow out use little barrettes to clip them off to the side. Use ones that are small enough for her not to choke on them, but keep a very close eye on her when seh wears them. Don't put them on her when she is in her crib.

Or if the hair does not seem to bother her then just leave it. My 5.5 year old is growing her bangs out and they are always in her fce - she just does not care!

Just wanted to add that if you save a lock of her hair, put it on a piece of paper (decorative if you can find it) and secure it with a drop of candle wax. I did this a few years back and the lock of hair is still secure.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

why not its only hair itll grow back

Cutting Baby's Hair?

Take her to a haircut place for kids. They usually have planes or trains the kids can sit in while they get a haircut, and for first hair cuts they put the hair in a special baggy. It is fun and a big deal. You may want to also bring a camera.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

just cut it into a bane (keep the clippings in her scrapbook)

Cutting Baby's Hair?

I wouldn't... unless you really want to for some reason. But Be sure to get her first curl for keepsake.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

No it isn't silly! If you don't want to cut it, then don't. If you do decide to cut it you could always go to a professional and see if there is a style that will keep the length but get it out of her eyes.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

I hated cutting my kids' hair the first time too! If you want to do it just make an appointment to bring her in and take lots of pictures and make her a scrap book page. Be sure to save some of the hair and get a good picture of the baby with the person who cut her hair. Yes you will feel weird and then when you see it out of her eyes you will be happy, and so will baby!!! Good Luck!!

Cutting Baby's Hair?

No you aren't being silly. With my youngest son, it took forever before I could cut his hair because he had these beautiful little curls and I couldn't bring myself to get rid of them!! I did finally get them cut at like though. But he is 2 now, and still only had his hair cut 3 times.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

yes you should just do it

Cutting Baby's Hair?

Some cultures shave thier baby's hair so it will grow back thicker, even little girls when they are only weeks old. My kids personally didn't have much hair at first, but when they did-once it started getting in thier eyes, I simply cut it! I cut my 2 year old daughters bangs all the time so she can see, and have for a long time. It's no big deal. Your being silly! just be careful, babies move a lot. Maybe when she's asleep, just lightly snip across her bangs, or have someone help you and hold her or you hold her and they do a 'trim'. It's no big deal at all! If you just want to grow them out, then just keep using clips. :-)

Cutting Baby's Hair?

have your husband do it if your too chicken! its hair not a snake use non pointy scissors please

Cutting Baby's Hair?

My daughter didn't receive her first haircut until she was 6 years old! I don't care for bangs so I just let her hair be. I either pulled it back into a ponytail, used clips, or a headband. So NO you aren't being silly!

Cutting Baby's Hair?

I did not cut my daughters hair because I did not want her to have bangs. I pull her hair back everyday. She is 25 months and getting first haircut next week. They will not be touching the bangs.

Cutting Baby's Hair?

sorry but i can let this slip .....CYAN ..... you are a very sick person and need deep physiological help . that was the most disturbing thing i have ever read . sickkkk get some help !!!!!!!!!

dont cut her hait yet she is just a baby , i think you should give it some time and think about it before you cut her hair . :)

Cutting Baby's Hair?

cutting it is fine. Those hair clips are dangerous for young children who put things in their mouth the can esily choke.(i have personally stopped many a baby from doing just that.)

Cutting Baby's Hair?

don't do it if your not comfortable with doing it yet no rush you could always put her hair up in some cute hairstyles

Cutting Baby's Hair?

i would say just continue to clip it back . . i've always heard that you shouldn't cut a baby's hair until they are at least a year old . .

Cutting Baby's Hair?

Yes, you are being silly. Just cut it. Get some of those blunt tipped scissors and do it while she is sleeping.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

The stylist sayes if I cut my hair more often it will grow faster. I understand that it will be healther, but how can it grow faster if I keep cutting it?

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

Cutting has NO EFFECT on how fast the hair grows out of the follicle.

All it does is make the ends look better.

I have done hair since 1984.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

im pretty sure she just meant that if you get it trimmed every once in a while, it'll help your hair grow.

whenever you get split ends and damage your hair at the bottom, your hair wont grow as well when its damaged, so snipping it makes your hair healthier and healthier hair grows faster =)

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

B/c if you trim it then your getting rid of all the damaged split ends and it's not spliting your hair. So then it ends up being healthy and grow more natural way.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

It just seems like it does.

Basically if you have a buzz cut and your hair grows an inch, it's noticeable. If you have hair down to your waist, an inch or two goes unnoticed.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

I find it appears to grow faster becuse your hair might be snapping off at the end if you use GHD's or other heat syling tools with out getting regular cuts. So if you get it cut regularly the hair wont split/snap off at the end and therefore will grow better.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

Regular trims keeps your hair from breaking off. The stylist just needs to nip the ends every 2 months if you want to grow your hair longer. But cutting it does not make your hair grow faster.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

Its a lie, hair grows from the root therefore if you cut it it will not grow faster. What getting it trimmed reg. will do is prevent you from having to get a lot cut off when you go in, and it will look healthier. If you don't trim reguarly you will get splits which just keep splitting faster after you get them. If you don't trim them when you finally do go in you will need more cut off than if you had just kept it trimmed reguarly.

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

UR hair grows weather it has split ends or not. UR hair grow's from the roots, not the ends.

However, it makes UR hair look nice %26amp; smooth %26amp; healthy if you cut the split ends every so often.

Do, not Oversdose on getting UR hair cut, or it will not grow.

A hair stylist told me that if you comb UR from the ends, gradually getting the tangles out, as you work the comb downword, %26amp; working the comb up higher, still combing downward strokes. This helps you to have less split ends %26amp; requires less cutting of the split ends!!

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

it doesnt... it just gets rid of split ends and makes it look better

Explain how regularly cutting hair makes it grow?

Because hair stops growing when there is split ends. The secret formula for hair growth is to see that hair remains healthy. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

my mom once told me cutting hair makes it grow faster. is that true?

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

hair grows one speed. period and the speed is determined by heredity and genetics....

in the spring there will be a burst of speed with the season for some odd reason ....but that's it...

Everyone's hair varies with the AVERAGE rate being 1/2 Inch per month. There is nothing approved by the FDA to speed up hair growth.

What your mother is referring to is............"IF" your hair is trashed....really trashed and is all split ends ( where one hair splits at the end and becomes 2). then those hairs of course will not grow as they will just keep splitting.

But If your avatar is correct and you are a guy, then you would most likely never ever have to worry about that...........know why? your hair is not long enough nor do most men put their hair through the torture we women do.....

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

yea it gets rid of the split ends

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

no

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

No, trimming makes it grow out neater though.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

yes it is...they usually reccomend getting a haircut every 6-8 weeks...

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

It's true. It cuts off the dead parts and makes it grow quicker.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

Actually it grows at the same rate, but keeping it trimmed keeps the ends healthy and they do not break off, thus it seems like it grows faster.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

YES IF U CUT THE SPLIT ENDS BUT DONT CUT IT AND USE MOTIONS

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

My mom told me that too, including some friends so I guess it is true. Plus I think it gets rid of damaged hair as well.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

if you trim off the split ends then it keeps your hair healthy. healthy hair grows faster than hair plauged with dead ends and split ends...so keep your hair trimmed and it will grow slightly faster!

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

Only if you have damaged ends, but you should cute every 2 months or so. your hair grows an half inch to a full inch every month so cutting often will only make it the same length or shorter. but if u want longer hair try massage the scapl with your fingers 2 times a day for 2-3 minutes. and remember clean hair is healthy hair

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

i don't think it does, i get my hair trimmed once a month to rid myself of those annoying split ends and my hair is still the same length it was in 1994

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

THIS IS NOT TRUE AT ALL. Here's the thing with trimming hair...the longer you wait to trim hair, the more that needs to be trimmed. Split and broken ends can travel up the hair a good couple of inches. If you get your hair trimmed 1 inch every two weeks and you skip two weeks...that's 2 inches you will have to take off next time, in turn, making your hair look shorter at the time of that trim. See what I mean? It doesn't make your hair grow faster, it just keeps from having to get so much taken off because of damage accumulation. That's all it is.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

I am sure it does. The longer the hair (firstly) the more it requires blood, and with millions of them blood supply and other essential nutrients get exhausted because the longer the hair, the more distance they (blood supply and nutrients) have to go. Secondly the longer the hair the weaker they become for the same above reason. When hair are cut and are shorter they get adequate blood supply and nutrients, and if they are cuit regularly, they maintain a healthy growth.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

No, the growth of the hair comes from the root which is on your scalp. So by cutting the ends doesn't make your hair grow any faster. But in summer weather hair grows about half an inch more each month.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

Read this:

THE TRUTH ABOUT HAIR - by Editor

Myth: Cutting hair helps it to grow better and faster.

Fact: Because hair is generally thicker at the base, it may give an illusion of being thicker when cut. Cutting your hair does not improve either its length or the rate at which it is growing (about half an inch in a month). However, in case of split ends, trimming helps to prevent the split from progressing up the strand and allows the hair to continue growing normally.

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

first hairs is dead like you finger nails you hair will look thicker and healthier with a trim every 6 to 8 weeks if yo are looking to make your hair thicker good luck some say take biotin it's in "hair and nail" vitimans or look at you genes

look up " what is hair"

Does cutting hair allow it to grow faster?

no it doesn't because your hair grows from the roots and your cutting the tips.

but cutting it gets rid of the split ends and makes your healthier!!!

hope i helped

Books for cutting hair?

I am looking a recent up to date book on cutting hair into modern styles. It could be online or otherwise. Does anyone know where I can find one. Basically looking for a how- to- cut -hair book.

Books for cutting hair?

Try a Cosmetology Book.Maybe some of your friends know someone who has gone to Beauty School and has an old book you can borrow.Look at Beauty Supply Stores too.

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

Will cutting your hair make it grow any faster? I've heard rumors about hair growing faster if it is trimmed, but doesn't hair grow from the root, so it wouldn't matter how long the actual strand was?

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

Cutting your hair will not make it grow faster, It does however maintain it to be healthy. Hair grows on the average of 1/16 of an inch per month. If your hair is not trimmed on a regular basis then it will split and become damaged.

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

no

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

clipping and refreshing the ends keeps it healthier and promotes growth, yes

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

After experience , yes .

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

no you will only have shorter hair

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

It depends on your genes.

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

No...even though you should clip your ends regularly if you don't want it to break off...

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

some people shave their head and their hair come out faster and shinny.

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

no this will not happen

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

yes it will but only cut the ends not the whole thing!

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

no ..it doesn't grow faster..the hair grows out wards from under the skin.any hair above the skin is dead .so you are cutting of dead hair ..like your finger nails..lol

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

I think the whole idea behind trimming your hair is that if you trim it, you are cutting off the ends that will potentially break off anyway. If your hair is dry, the ends will break off as fast or faster than you hair will grow in making it look like you hair takes a long time to grow, but it you give it a small trim, your making your hair healtier by getting the damaged, breakable hair off and therefore the hair appears to grow in faster. Hope this helps.

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

yes it will but only the ends of your hair to maintain it healthy or else u can get split ends when you don't trim your ends

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

no but it will grow more healthy

Will Cutting Hair Make It Grow Faster?

Cutting your hair does not make it grow any faster (it doesn't change what's happening on the inside of the scalp), however cutting it will stop the ends from splitting and breaking off. The average head of hair will grow at 1/4 inch a month so if you trim your hair every 6-8 weeks the very minimum it will stay healthy and grow longer without breaking off. Also if you use regular treatments and leave-in moisturizers, this will help it to grow healthy and shiney
